Open your heart to the mystery and wonder of the Advent season: take part in Advent Lessons & Carols, online. This is a music-filled service designed to help you start your journey toward Christmas.
Advent Lessons and Carols is a unique service in the Anglican church. It consists of bible readings—lessons—interspersed with advent hymns. The readings foretell the birth of Jesus, Light of the World.
This year the Cathedral’s Advent Lessons & Carols looks a little different. The pre-recorded liturgy is complemented by musical tracks from the Cathedral Choir’s Advent CD. Whether you’re simply a lover of choral music, or seeking deeper meaning during this season, you are warmly welcome to take part in this service which is one of the highlights of the Advent season.
