Justice Education and Advocacy Ministry

The Justice, Education, and Advocacy ministry seeks to build community amongst Cathedral parishioners who are called to a ministry of advocacy for social and environmental justice. Members of this group work together to offer opportunities for the Cathedral's congregations to learn about and get involved in matters concerning the common good.

The Maundy Café
The Maundy Café provides vital support to people affected by poverty in our neighbourhood, largely through the generosity of our volunteers and donors.

Participation in the Café tends to be a personally rewarding experience for volunteers and guests alike. It's a place where you can make new connections, and become part of a diverse and vibrant community where you can put your improvisational cooking skills to the test!

How can I volunteer?

The Maundy Café is powered by volunteers who want to be part of a coordinated attempt to harness the power of good food to build health, belonging, and reconciliation in communities affected by systems that perpetuate poverty. Is that you? Take the next step.

Members of the Cathedral support the Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund, an arm of the Anglican Church of Canada's focused on sustainable development, relief, global justice, and assisting refugees. Members of this group coordinate events, raise funds, and offer education in the Cathedral community about the Fund's vital relief and development work that takes place both at home and abroad.
