Collect
Presider Loving God,
You made humanity in your likeness. Each and every human identity,
in all our sexual and gender diversity, in all our racial and cultural diversity –
we bear Your sacred image. Press us, compel us, inspire us to fully live the power and beauty of this truth every day. In the name of the extravagantly loving, table turning One we call Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Affirmation of Faith
Presider You are invited to join in an affirmation of faith.
All
You, O God, are Creator of all, by whom every being in heaven and earth is fashioned, named, and sustained.
You call us each by name.
You, O God, are Living Word, who came and pitched your tent with us, lived and died and rose again. You speak to us now through faith.
You, O God, are Holy Spirit, who comforts, strengthens, and inspires, sending us forth to share your love. You are the breath of grace.
You, O God, are Trinity: Creator, Word, Spirit; artist, healer, friend.
You are holy mystery.
We worship you. Amen.

Prayer over the Gifts
Presider Source Eternal, we bring our offerings to you. We thank you for this bread and wine, gifts of your creation. We thank you for Jesus: God with us.
All Amen.
The Great Thanksgiving
Presider May God be with you.
All And also with you.
Presider Lift up your hearts.
All We lift them up to God.
Presider Let us give thanks to God our Creator.
All It is right to give our thanks and praise.
Presider Creator, you made our world, beautiful and good.
You made us to live in right relationship with you and all creation.
You sent Jesus to live among us and show us what you are like.
We give all thanks and praise to you, our true and loving God.
You laid the foundations of the earth and enclosed the seas.
You brought forth all creatures and gave breath to humankind.
Wondrous are you, Holy One. All you create is a sign of hope for our journey.
And so, we join with the heavenly beings
and all of creation as we sing:
Sanctus
Presider Glory and honour are yours, Creator of all,
your Word has never been silent.
Of your grace, you sent Jesus to be human, to share our life,
to proclaim the coming of your holy reign,
and to give himself for us.
Through Jesus Christ you have reconciled us to you
and restored the glory you intended for us.
On the night before he died, Jesus ate supper with his friends.
He took bread, gave thanks, broke it, and gave it to them, saying:
“Take and eat. This is my very self given for you.
Do this for the remembrance of me.”
Then he took the cup of wine, again he gave thanks,
and gave it to them, saying:
“Drink it all of you. This cup is a new covenant
poured out for you and all people.
Do this for the remembrance of me.”
And so, we remember:
the cross, the tomb, the resurrection and ascension,
and, longing for Christ’s coming again in glory,
we present these gifts to you.
Send your Holy Spirit upon us and upon these gifts,
so that we who share this bread and wine
may be a people of hope, justice and love.
Draw us together in Christ,
and, in the fullness of time, gather us with all your people
into the joy of your eternal home.
Through Christ and with Christ and in Christ,
by the inspiration of your Holy Spirit,
we worship you our God and Creator
and give you our unending praise.
Amen.
The Lord’s Prayer
Presider In the spirit of Jesus’ teaching, let us pray.
All Abba, God in heaven,
holy is your name,
may your kingdom come,
may your will be done,
here on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us what we need for today.
Forgive us as we forgive others.
Save us from times of trial,
and deliver us from all evil.
For all authority and power and glory are yours,
now and forever. Amen.
Breaking of the Bread
Presider We break this bread to share in the life of Christ.
All We, though many, are one, for we share this one bread.
Presider This is the bread of life given in love for us. This is the cup of restored relationship with God.
These are the gifts of God for all God’s people.
All Thanks be to God.
Share the Gifts
All who know the struggles of life, its fractures within and its division without, and who seek fellowship with Christ, are invited to share in Communion.
