Pastor Clare is out of the office from June 3rd to 23rd.

Until the end of the summer season, our traditional Coffee Hour held after the 10:30 a.m. service will be taking place on the plaza outside the Burrard St. doors (weather permitting).

I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the entire Cathedral community for the warm welcome and support my family and I have received. Your kindness and generosity have truly made us feel at home. I am excited to continue our journey together and contribute to this wonderful community.

You know us Vancouverites—we always like to do things a bit differently, don’t we? When it comes to Pride, we reckon the weather’s just so much better in August for a proper outdoor party. But the roots of Pride are in June, when much of the free world marks two major milestones in the fight for LGBTQ+ rights. (We’ll still party in August, though!)

Join us for a small group 7-week series exploring core ideas in the Christian faith. We meet for an hour on Thursday evenings, from 7.30-8.30pm. This series is co-facilitated by Rev. Areeta Bridgemohan and Claude St-Denis. The last gathering will take place on Thursday, June 27th. 

We are hoping that some participants will be open to becoming facilitators of the series this fall.

The Father of the Afghan refugee family we sponsored, Dad Mohammadi, has started up a new business refurbishing and repairing car and furniture upholstery. It is called Kunduz Upholstery and is located in Maple Ridge.

If you require repairs, please consider supporting this family in their second year in Canada become truly financially stable and independent and get beautiful, fine work done on your furniture!

Join us for a gentle walk in Stanley Park, followed by a picnic in the shade of the trees by Lumbermen's Arch. 

We will meet at 10am by the concession stand. 

Bring comfortable shoes, appropriate weather gear, water bottle, lunch, something comfortable to sit on and, if you're feeling up to it, snacks to share! 

There is parking near our meeting point, as well as washrooms, a water fountain, a concession stand (so you can buy lunch too), and a splash pad not too far away.  

(In case of rain, we will not have a picnic, but we will walk.)

It's Time for Some History!

What do you know about the renovation history of the Cathedral? Nothing, forgotten a lot, would love to know more? Well, you are in luck! ...

Join us to watch this documentary about a groundbreaking time in the Episcopal church (the Anglican Church in the U.S.).

We will watch the film, have conversation about what we saw, and hear from leaders in the Anglican Church of Canada.  They will share their reflections on the Canadian story and on women in church leadership in the Anglican Church today.

We will also have lemonade and light snacks.
