Morning PrayerEvery Weekday from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM Are you looking for a way to deepen your spiritual life? Every weekday morning at 9:30 AM the Cathedral holds Morning Prayer. We will follow a simple liturgy with a Psalm, a Reading, Prayer and Silence. This form of regular, daily prayer is used in the Anglican Communion and a number of other church denominations. Upper Zoom Bible Study
The weekly Upper Zoom Bible Study resumes on Thursdays at 7:30 PM. We gather online for a time of learning, reflection, and conversation about the upcoming Sunday's readings, using a method inspired by Lectio Divina. It’s a wonderful opportunity to grow in faith and connect with one another, even from the comfort of home. All are welcome to BYOB (Bring Your Own Bible) and join! With Advent instruction by Rev. Advent Series With the Archbishop
Spend four evenings in Advent taking a journey with the pilgrim characters of the Advent season: Mary, Elizabeth, Joseph, and John the Baptist. Archbishop John will offer teaching on their stories and the Prologue from the Gospel of John. The sessions will include small group discussion and use scripture, image, song, and poetry to help us deepen our own pilgrim journeys as we search for Emmanuel. This series takes place on Zoom. Hub & Spoke: Holy Cross Anglican
As part of the Cathedral’s Hub & Spoke ministry, Dean Chris Pappas will be preaching and presiding at Holy Cross Anglican Church on Sunday, November 16, 2025. The Hub & Spoke model allows the Cathedral to share clergy leadership and formation resources with other parishes across the diocese and province. This Sunday, the Rev. Clare Morgan, Vicar of Holy Cross and half-time Nave Missioner at the Cathedral, will be preaching at the Cathedral while Dean Chris ministers at Holy Cross. Through this collaborative exchange, the Cathedral continues to use its blessings of people, resources, and gifts to strengthen and support ministry throughout our wider Anglican community. Maundy Café Christmas Gift Bags
The Cathedral serves lunch three times each week for less fortunate women and men in the downtown community. Each year Maundy Café volunteers give a Christmas gift bag to each of our guests. We include new warm socks, gloves/mittens, scarves, hats, toothbrushes and toothpaste. This year the number of guests has increased so we will need more donations than ever before. |
