EXPLORING OUR FAITH

Upper Zoom Bible Study

Upper Zoom Bible Study

The weekly Upper Zoom Bible Study is held on Thursdays at 7:30 PM. We gather online for a time of learning, reflection, and conversation about the upcoming Sunday's readings, using a method inspired by Lectio Divina. It’s a wonderful opportunity to grow in faith and connect with one another, even from the comfort of home.

All are welcome to BYOB (Bring Your Own Bible) and join!

Please email The Rev. Claude St-Denis, claude@thecathedral.ca, if you would like more information.

Godly Play

Godly Play

Children are invited to come downstairs to the Park Room for a Godly Play* lesson. They will come back upstairs and rejoin parents for communion.

*Godly Play is a beautiful and thoughtful Montessori-informed approach that nurtures children's spirituality as they engage with the stories and sacraments of the church. It was developed by Dr. Jerome Berryman, an American Anglican priest.

Unpacking Our Faith

Next Men’s Breakfast

Next Men’s Breakfast

Gentlemen,

We look forward to seeing you at our next in-person Men’s Breakfast at Christ Church Cathedral on Saturday, January 31, 2026. Doors open at 8:00 am, breakfast is served at 8:30 am, and the session runs from 9:00 am to 10:15 am.

We live in “interesting times,” facing a plethora of complex issues that challenge us on personal, professional, and spiritual fronts. This session brings together three members of our group with varied backgrounds to form a panel exploring these “difficult questions.” Our panelists include:

  • Daniel Bornman: Vancouver Coastal Health (working with people with addiction in the Downtown Eastside).

  • Peter Schouls: Professor Emeritus of Philosophy at UBC.

  • Ted Chiasson: Retired Judge of the Court of Appeal for British Columbia.

RSVP: To assist with planning, please RSVP by email to Ron Bowles (ronbowles7@gmail.com) by Thursday evening, January 29.

Cost: $20.00 (collected at the door) to cover costs of the breakfast.

Thanks!
