This Sunday the Cathedral Choir welcomes members of Elektra, EnChor, and Chor Leoni to the 10:30 Eucharist to celebrate some remarkable shared history together.

In April of 1999 the Cathedral Choir, Elektra, and Chor Leoni presented the (as far as we knew) Vancouver premiere of the Rachmaninov’s Vespers. We gave 2 performances, one at the Cathedral and another at the Chan Centre for the Performing Arts. (Both, predictably, sold out.)

Born and bred in Hong Kong, Jenny Wong NAM studied sociology in Edmonton, theology in Vancouver, Montreal and New York.

Christ Church Cathedral parishioner Susanne Cruickshank ODNW is a former People’s Warden at the Cathedral, and she has faithfully served as a longtime multi-ministry lay person and in many capacities at the Cathedral. Susanne began writing her story with Sorrento Centre in 1965. She and then husband, the late Jim Cruickshank, began their journey with Sorrento that year with Jim being named as the founding director of the Centre. […]

Join us to watch this documentary about a groundbreaking time in the Episcopal church (the Anglican Church in the U.S.).

We will watch the film, have conversation about what we saw, and hear from leaders in the Anglican Church of Canada.  They will share their reflections on the Canadian story and on women in church leadership in the Anglican Church today.

We will also have lemonade and light snacks.

Please join the Neighbourhood Gospel Band, for a concert in support for the West Side Anglicans Neighbourhood Ministry - a homeless outreach program serving our neighbours on the streets of the West Side. Admission by donation.

Come and join us for a week of fun and learning at 3400 Institute Road. Aimed at children age 5-12, this camp empowers children to love the world, one another, and themselves.

A funeral service with internment is planned for Wednesday, July 31, at 2:00 p.m. at Christ Church Cathedral, with a reception to follow.
