On this National Indigenous Day of Prayer, I invite you to join your prayers with action by participating in the 215 Letters Project.

The goal of the project is to invite 215 people to write one letter each to their local member of parliament (MP) asking that Jordan's Principle be fully implemented.

Jordan's Principle ensures that every First Nations child receives equal and immediate access to funding for welfare and education.

Jordan's Principle is #3 of the Calls to Action from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.

In part, the 215 Letters Project is also to honour the lives of the children whose remains were found on the grounds of the Kamloops Residential School.

I invite you to write your letter today, to ensure that when we say "Every Child Matters" we mean it.
