Core to the Cathedral parish’s identity is its intentional focus on gathering the people of God into the process of renewing their baptismal identity and purpose through prayer and worship. The Cathedral community extends Jesus’ invitation to personal and corporate transformation in its liturgies: through the reading of scripture; through intelligent, thoughtful, and heart-filled preaching; through congregational and choral singing; through prayer, and through silence.

As it engages these practices, the Cathedral community expresses and draws on the best parts of its Anglican identity and spirituality. Liturgical leadership at the Cathedral invites a diversity of voices, seeking ways to harmonize traditional and contemporary elements to create liturgies that are genuinely broad church. Each Sunday, with the support of almost 90 volunteers, the Cathedral celebrates five distinctive liturgies that reflect different aspects of the parish community.
