On Friday the 28th of May, 215 pairs of children's shoes were laid on the steps of the Vancouver Art Gallery by artist Tamara Bell. A tribute to the lives of the 215 children whose remains were found at the Kamloops Indian Residential School.
Cathedral Vicar, Helen Dunn, visited the installation that evening. In this video, she's filming just around the corner from the gallery where she invites you to remember, and to consider what best next step you might take towards support and solidarity with Indigenous people.
