Welcome Sarah!

Dear Siblings in Christ, 

We are delighted to welcome Sarah Coe, an ordinand and first year seminary student at Cambridge University, UK. Sarah will be doing a 4-week placement in Vancouver. Her time in B.C. will be shared with St. Anselm's. She will be at the Cathedral mostly on Sunday evenings, and on some Tuesday noon Eucharists to offer a reflection. She will be joining the Cathedral team at Sorrento the week of July 26th, supporting the children and youth ministry.

Her first Sunday will be July 5th and her last will be August 2nd.

Hi, my name is Sarah, and I’m currently training for ordained ministry in the Church of England in Cambridge, UK. Before beginning my training, I worked as an art, photography and graphic design teacher at a secondary school in the suburbs of London. Over the years, I’ve also had the joy of being involved in youth work in a number of Anglican churches.

Outside of ministry and teaching, I love lazy swims (floating) in lakes and oceans, and I’m currently teaching myself embroidery.

I’m really looking forward to spending my summer with the Anglican churches in Vancouver — joining you for worship, getting to know the community, learning from your experiences, and offering whatever help I can along the way. I’m excited to be part of your church family for this season.
