The Reverend Dr. Charles Meeks is Associate Professor and Director of Anglican Formation and Studies at the Vancouver School of Theology. Charles earned a BA in ministry from Houghton University in upstate New York, an MA in biblical studies from Asbury Theological Seminary in Kentucky, and his PhD in historical theology from Wycliffe College in the University of Toronto. Charles was ordained to the priesthood in the Diocese of Niagara, where he served at a handful of parishes (St. Paul’s Westdale and Church of the Ascension) and as Ecumenical Chaplain at McMaster University. He loves to read and write on the early church and sacramental theology, among several topics. He lives in the Mountainview neighborhood of Vancouver, and is grateful for being able to share his life with his spouse Amy and their son Edwin.
