Christ Church Cathedral is the oldest surviving building in downtown Vancouver and a place of prayer for all people. As such the Cathedral is open daily for quiet reflection, daily Eucharist, as well as to the many tourists who come to visit and explore the Cathedral for its connection to the city’s history.
Visual artistry adorns the building, providing yet another way for parishioners and visitors to experience God’s peace and enter into prayer. From historic to modern stained-glass installations, fabric art installation and vestments, outdoor sculpture and a striking bell spire. Community art projects have been and continue to be a prized feature of Cathedral parish life.
