We are now coming to the end of the Season of Creation; a time set aside each year when the Anglican Church gives particular attention, through prayer and action, to its Fifth Mark of Mission: To strive to safeguard the integrity of creation and sustain and renew the life of the earth.
Every year our deanery* organizes an opportunity to get together. This year we will meet at the Cathedral and walk to St. James. We will get to know each other as Diocesan neighbours from our various parishes. We will notice and give thanks for God’s creatures.
We will meet at 1.30pm at Christ Church Cathedral (690 Burrard St). We will walk to St. James (303 E. Cordova St) and conclude our gathering with worship at St. James celebrating St. Francis, starting at about 4pm and ending around 5.15pm.
Join in at any time, and for any amount that you would like or feel comfortable doing.
