I am pleased to announce that Diogo Portela has accepted an offer to be the Cathedral Administrative Assistant. Diogo will begin on December 18th and will work primarily Monday through Friday. Diogo can be reached at reception@thecathedral.ca.  The volunteer receptionists will continue under the direction of Diogo and the Cathedral Office will be open 10 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday.

Diogo received a Bachelor of Laws from the Federal University of Ceara in Fortaleza Brazil. He has most recently been employed as an Administrative Officer at the Court of Appeal of the State of Ceara in Brazil. He previously worked as a Judicial Law Clerk and Legal Administrative assistant.

Diogo had trained to be a diplomat and speaks English, Portuguese, French and Spanish.
