This update was submitted by Jane Hope, a Cathedral Warden and member of the Search Commitee entrusted with calling a new vicar. 

Our search for a new Vicar is moving ahead. After the circulation of the Parish Profile, all candidates are evaluated by the Bishop's Advisory Committee on Appointments (BACA). BACA is chaired by Bishop John and is elected at Synod.  Both laity and clergy sit on BACA, and all BACA meetings have representation from the Search Committee. BACA's role is to create an interview shortlist; the Search Committee anticipates interviews starting soon.                                                   
Please pray for the Search Committee and the candidates during this process of mutual discernment.
