In an often hectic season, you are invited to come to the quiet. Make your favourite cup and tea and gather your art supplies. Bring whatever crafty endeavour you are currently working on - or simply take some rest. There will be seasonal poetry and our time will be graced by beautiful music. Familiar Nativity plays and movies combine aspects of Matthew & Luke's Nativity narratives into a single drama. Many scholars, however, see the two narratives as fundamentally at odds, with seemingly irreconcilable differences. And yet, they dovetail quite neatly. Join the Rev. 9:30am - 11:30am - Advent Holy Hike
Join us for a gentle hike in Pacific Spirit Park, from 9.30-11.30am. We'll meet in the parking lot on W 16th Ave (4915 W 16th Ave, Vancouver, BC V6R 3E9). We will walk, enjoy each other's company and give thanks to God for the beauty of creation. All ages welcome. Friendly dogs are welcome too. We will hike rain or sun (not snow), so dress for the weather! Bring water bottles, a snack, and comfortable shoes.
