All of our 4pm Sunday services follow a familiar service format: either Choral Evensong according to the Book of Common Prayer, or Evening Prayer from the Book of Alternative Services. There are versicles and responses ("O God make speed to save us," or "O Lord, I call to you; come to me quickly"), readings from scripture - including psalms, canticles (e.g. the Magnificat), an affirmation of faith (usually one of the creeds), intercessions, and the Lord's Prayer. Week by week, we build the music around this familiar, repeating structure, according to one of the genres or styles in our rota.

Incense is used at all Sundays@4 services.
