We are so excited you want to celebrate Christmas at the Cathedral. Here is everything you need to know if you want to attend one of our four Christmas Eve services: 

1pm & 4pm Services 

-Doors open 45 minutes before the service. (12:15pm for the 1pm service, 3:15pm for the 4pm service) 
-A wristband system is in place for admission to these two services to ensure seniors, people with mobility challenges and families with small children are able to access the service. 

-Have a wristband? Proceed to the east doors on Georgia St. to enter the church (see map attached) 

-If you reserved wristbands: Pick up your wristbands at the "will-call" point at lower Burrard St. doors starting at 12pm. Wristbands will be held until 15 min before service starts.  

If you did not reserve wristbands: Starting at 12pm, go to the lower Burrard St. doors to get a wristband on first come, first serve basis. 

Due to demand, seats cannot be reserved. 

8pm and 11pm Christmas Mass for the City 

Wristband are not required for these two services. Doors open 45 minutes before the start of the service
Admission is on a first - come, first-seated, basis. 

Enter the church via the east doors on Georgia St. This door is wheelchair/walker/scooter accessible. 

Please note: incense will be used during these two services. 

Live Stream of Services 

If you are unable to make it to the Cathedral to take part in our services, you can still take part from home! 
The 1pm, 4pm and 8pm services will be live streamed on the Cathedral website: thecathedral.ca/live
