Services

This is a quiet, reflective service which uses the language of the Book of Common Prayer. This service embraces the silence, beauty and mystery of this stream of the Anglican tradition. People attending this service are often searching for a short, contemplative start to their Sunday. (45 minutes). This service is currently available in-person, no registration needed.

The Cathedral’s Choral Eucharist, using the Book of Alternative Services, is festive and intergenerational. This is a service filled with music, anchored by the Cathedral Choir, and a variety of musical guests or guest preachers. This congregation varies from the very young to those in their 90s, with everyone in between. (75 minutes). Children are welcome to join in Godly Play, which takes place outside in the Memorial Garden.

St. Brigid’s is a vibrant, growing eucharistic community where questions are honoured, faith is nurtured, and discipleship pursued. The service is a dressed-down, contemplative, contemporary liturgy, with activities intentionally set out for children. (75 minutes) This is a hybrid service: you can take part on-site or on-line. A timeless, contemplative, centring service featuring Gregorian Chant that seamlessly blends music, scripture, and prayer. This service is a reminder of God’s nearness in the darkness, as well as, in the light. Compline takes place from February to the end of November.
