Family Ministry at Home: Jesus Teaches Us About Love

Lent 1 is in just 2 weeks, so we will be back together soon but until then here is our next installment of Family Ministry from Home! This one is themed on how Jesus teaches us to Love. We will hear the story and get to create an at-home Scavenger Hunt themed on Love. Each card has a mini challenge Children can participate in to win a small prize. We will also learn about types of love in the Bible such as Agape, Philia, Eros, Storge and Philautia. As well as learning about how we can express love to others. You will find everything you need including coloring and works sheets and the story in the attached PDF for you to print at home and below is instructions on some ways you can do the Scavenger Hunt

For Younger Children:

• Just hiding the cards around one and having some small chocolates or candy as a prize

For Older Children:

• Hide the cards all over your home or even outdoors, and have the children respond to each challenge to win small prizes, feel free to set a timer to add another level of Challenge!
