Join Simon Wheeler for this session looking at one BC island's efforts to meet the climate challenge. 

Salt Spring Community Energy is a group of local citizens who bring their talents and skills to encourage renewable
energy and clean technology on the island. Working with local organizations, this dedicated team not only inspires
and educates, but helps bring projects forward. Simon Wheeler is a member of Salt Spring Community Energy and will share stories and examples of climate actions that make change.

Simon Wheeler is an environmentalist with a master’s degree in Renewable Energy and the Environment.  For the
past 20 years, he has been working to promote solar energy as one answer to powering a fossil fuel free future.
