40 Minute Forum Series

The Canadian Association of Physicians for the Environment (CAPE) collaborates with other organizations, nationally and internationally, to work effectively and build power together. CAPE empowers physicians to be advocates for healthier environments and ecosystems.

Dr. Melissa Lem is a Vancouver family physician who also works in rural and northern communities. She has engaged in advocacy and policy work on a broad range of issues, from climate change and hydraulic fracturing to sustainable health care and nature-based solutions.
