“Walking the labyrinth is a spiritual discipline that invites us to trust the path to surrender to the many turns our lives take, and to walk through the confusion, the fear, the anger, the grief, that we cannot avoid experiencing as we live our earthly lives.”
~ Lauren Artress, founder of Veriditas
To usher in summer, Christ Church Cathedral’s labyrinth will be open this month, during the week of Monday, June 17th to Friday, June 21st from 10am – 4pm. We invite people of all faiths and spiritual disciplines to experience a time for centering, contemplation, reflection and meditation.
A special evening event, “Music of the Labyrinth”, will take place on Friday, June 21st, featuring Vancouver cellist-singer Byron Hanson, who, with looped cello and voice, will be accompanying “pilgrims” as they journey in the serene setting of Christ Church Cathedral’s sanctuary. Music begins at 7:30pm.
